Chemistry Minor

Requirements for the Chemistry Minor

A minor in chemistry includes:

• CHEM 105 or CHEM 105P or CHEM 116 and CHEM 205, or CHEM 120 
• CHEM 211 
• Two courses from the following: BIOC 223/CHEM 223, CHEM 330, BIOC/CHEM 331, CHEM 341, or CHEM 361. Note that students cannot complete both CHEM 330 and BIOC/CHEM 331 for minor requirements.
• One additional 200- or 300- level course, excluding research courses (CHEM 250, CHEM 350, CHEM 355, CHEM 365)

Normally no more than one unit in chemistry from another institution may be counted toward the minor.
